From September 1st to 11th, 2025, the University of Tuscia organized “Between Emotions and Relationships: Strategies for Wellbeing in Contemporary Complexity“, a meeting series aimed at the university community (students, faculty, and technical-administrative staff) to promote individual and collective wellbeing through emotional and relational awareness.
The meetings, coordinated by Dr. Martina Galli (the Rector’s Delegate for Inclusion and Equity and PROBEN Scientific Coordinator), took place both online and in person in Room 6 at Santa Maria in Gradi. During the sessions, the speakers explored several fundamental dimensions of psychological wellbeing:
- Gender Stereotypes and Psychological Wellbeing, featuring two sessions curated by Dr. Stefano Eleuteri;
- Turning Reactions into Responses: Impulsivity, Emotional Dysregulation, and the Role of the Reflective Function, featuring two sessions curated by Dr. Maria Fascetti;
- How Psychotropic Substances Work: What they reveal and what they entail, featuring two sessions curated by Dr. Valentina Panetti;
- Mindfulness and Stress: Awareness, self-regulation, and wellbeing between theory and practice, featuring two sessions curated by Dr. Edgardo Reali;
- Connected Lives: Hyperconnectivity, wellbeing, and self-management strategies, featuring two sessions curated by Dr. Silvia Allegro;
The meeting series is part of the PROBEN initiative, specifically the WAVE project funded by the MIUR, with the University of Tuscia and “La Sapienza” University of Rome serving as lead institutions, in collaboration with LUMSA, UNINT, and LINK universities, as well as the Rome Academy of Fine Arts and the Silvio D’Amico National Academy of Dramatic Arts.
