The ABARoma Listening Center is dedicated to all students, offering a free and confidential space to find support, develop self-awareness, and activate the resources needed to successfully navigate their academic, professional, and personal journeys.
Psychological CounselingA short-term process with a specialist designed to help you better understand yourself and navigate difficult times. supports students in shaping, pursuing, or redefining their life goals. It helps them face challenges such as academic orientation and career choices, adjusting to a new environment, exam anxiety and stress, academic underperformance or failing exams, difficulties completing their degree, and emotional struggles.
As part of the WAVE Pro.Ben. project, a dedicated Counseling Desk is also available, focusing specifically on issues related to abuse, Gender-based violenceAny form of physical, psychological, or sexual violence linked to gender, whether real or perceived., and discrimination.

The service is open to students experiencing difficulties related to:
- adjusting to university life
- exam anxiety, stress, and Difficulty concentratingWhen it is hard to maintain attention, remember things, or stay focused on a task.;
- uncertainty about your choice of study;
- relationship and emotional difficulties;
- feelings of DisorientationA feeling of being confused, lost, or not knowing which direction to take in life or in your studies., isolation, or general dissatisfaction;
Eligible Users
The service is free of charge and open to all currently enrolled students, specifically to:
- Bachelor’s and Master’s degree students
- PhD students and specializing students
- Erasmus students (both incoming and outgoing)
- Erasmus students (both incoming and outgoing)
- Visiting students
- Students with Disabilities and/or Specific Learning Difficulties

Number of free CounselingA short-term process with a specialist designed to help you better understand yourself and navigate difficult times. sessions offered: 1 initial intake session + 3 psychological counseling sessions (free of charge).
Follow-upMonitoring sessions after the journey, to see how you are doing and whether further support is needed.: 1 session, 6 months after the final appointment.

Support for Students with SLD and Disabilities
An Inclusion Service is available to assign a tutor to students who request one, based on their official certification. The tutor supports students throughout their educational path, facilitating learning, integration, and relationships with faculty, peers, and the administration, as well as helping with bureaucratic procedures.
