On October 14th, 2025, the photo and video exhibition “Fuori di te” was inaugurated at the CrossinGallery in Campo Boario (Fienili, Largo Dino Frisullo). The event was promoted by the Rome Academy of Fine Arts and the Ministry of University and Research as part of the Proben Lazio 1 project, under the WAVE program.
The exhibition brings together the works of nine young artists—Marta Bertollini, Martina Chicca, Rucsandra Christache, Anita D’Errico, Federica D’Errico, Riccardo De Santis, Yecta Ghaffari, Sofia Giacomello, and Olimpia Paldi – the result of a research journey spanning nearly an entire academic year. The projects tackle complex and timely issues such as psychological distress, addiction, abuse, and the boundaries of Gender-based violenceAny form of physical, psychological, or sexual violence linked to gender, whether real or perceived., offering a personal yet shared perspective on experiences that are often endured in silence and privacy.
“Fuori di te” represents a significant cross-section of the work developed by the students involved in the project, offering the public a selection of pieces that transform individual life experiences into visual narratives capable of stimulating reflection and dialogue. Through photography and video, these young artists bring questions and awareness into the public sphere, helping to break the taboo that so often surrounds emotional distress.
The initiative is part of a broader journey that emphasizes the role of artistic research as a practice capable of promoting wellbeing, dialogue, and collective awareness.
