The highly anticipated event “Padel e Salute – Capire per Prevenire” returns to Rome, bringing together medicine and sport to promote a culture of prevention and healthy lifestyles. Organized by the Cultural Association “Capire per Prevenire” in collaboration with Sapienza University of Rome, the Policlinico Umberto I University Hospital, and the Sant’Andrea University Hospital, the event will take place at the Sapienza Sport facility (Via delle Fornaci di Tor di Quinto, 64).
The Three-Day Program
The event will take place over the weekend in June with the following hours:
- Friday, June 5 and Saturday, June 6: from 09:00 to 18:00.
- Sunday, June 7: from 09:00 to 12:00.
Throughout the event, citizens will have free access to the Villaggio della Salute for medical check-ups and specialist consultations, with no booking required. Professionals from 34 medical specialties will be present, including cardiology, dermatology, clinical nutrition, breast health, and many others.
Sport & Wellness
Alongside the medical activities, the event will offer a rich sports and entertainment program:
- Clubs Tournament: The final stage (Master) of the amateur tournament that began in April will see the winning pairs face off on the Sapienza Sport courts.
- Special Tournaments: Competitions dedicated to students and medical staff.
- Wellness Area: Yoga, Pilates, and gentle stretching sessions open to everyone.
- Conferences: Informative sessions for students on topics such as addiction and sexuality, alongside CME conferences for healthcare professionals.
Inclusivity and Solidarity
L’edizione 2026 conferma il suo impegno verso l’inclusività, supportando attivamente l’AIPD (Associazione Italiana Persone Down). The event’s mission is to break down barriers, motivating and supporting people with disabilities in the practice of padel.
Guests and Awards
The event’s godmother and ambassador will be Laura Freddi, who, alongside Miriana Trevisan and Simone Gallo, will host the final awards and recognition ceremony scheduled for Sunday at 1:00 PM.
